We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing multiple systems while maintaining a friendly demeanor with our very busy check in desk.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Work multiple check in systems without becoming overwhelmed
- Responsible for collecting copays, balancing EOD payments, and maintaining patient financial records
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage intake forms
- Coordinate with medical assistants and providers to ensure smooth patient flow
- Perform general administrative tasks (e.g., scanning, faxing, mail)
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
- 1+ year of experience in customer service
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- EMR and EPM experience preferred
